
So like many of us the new year made me rethink the way I live. Looking around the web sure makes me think 2012 is the year to get fit.
Well I knew I couldn't make an effective change if I tried to change everything all at once. I stated by improving different things slowly.
First what I call phase 1 I started watching what I was eating n drinking I started by dropping soda n juice cold turkey. I was afraid I was going to get side effects (head ache mostly) like I have in the past when I tried to stop drinking soda. But thank god this didn't happen. :)
Then Phase 2 with the help of "lose it" app I started to count calories. Cutting 500-1000 calories per day meant I could lose around 1-2 pounds every week.
Next up and where I am currently is Phase 3 get my butt moving. Monday I started by walking once I got home.
It has not been easy I didn't expect it to be. I HAVE slipped a few times n I re-focused my energy to the right direction n looked forward. I have lost around 10 pounds (first 10-15 are the quickest to lose because its water fat so its going to be hard to see me not lose weight at this rate once all the water weight is gone).
Phase 3 is next :)
